Message from the Director of Athletics and Student Activities

Paul Brunner, Director of Athletics and Student Activities
At Orono Schools, we believe that education-based athletics and activities are an integral part of a complete educational experience. Our goal is to provide opportunities that meet the diverse needs of our student body, while creating positive environments that foster personal growth and cultivate meaningful relationships.

Our programming provides opportunities for students to develop athletically, academically, socially, and morally - with an emphasis on personal growth and development that leads to well-rounded individuals. Participants should expect an emphasis on positive character traits such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Student participation in athletics and activities is a privilege, not a right. By working together, we can create a positive environment of school loyalty and pride which can be shared by all.

Please review our Spartan Player/Parent Handbook, and let us know if you have any questions.
